205,00€ – 730,00€Price range: 205,00€ through 730,00€
Take part in the most exclusive tour in all of Rome. The tour will include a view of the world-renowned Sistine Chapel, built in 1473 by the order of Pope Sistus IV from whom it derives its name. Originally a private chapel for the popes, the Sistine Chapel was built in the precise dimensions of the Temple of Soloman, as describe in the Bible. It is still used as the Conclave for Papal Elections. Here you can view the remarkable masterpieces of Michaelangelo, who spent four years painting the Chapel ceiling with frescoes depicting scenes from the Old Testament, including the incredible scene of the Creation. Additional highlights of the tour include the Gallerie Superiori, the Stanze di Raffaello, and the Gallerie della Biblioteca.
