If you have never been to Rome, this tour is perfect to provide sense of the city and its major attractions! We’ll begin the tour at Piazza del Popolo, a square connecting three important roads of Rome: Via del Corso, Via di Ripetta, and Via del Babuino. In Ancient Roman times, this square was the major entrance to the city. Walking towards Spanish Steps, the romantic centre of papal Rome and the most beautiful example of a baroque staircase in the world. A stone’s throw away lies the Trevi Fountain, which may be the most beautiful, and without doubt the most famous, fountain in Rome. Continuing on, we’ll explore Piazza Navona, which was used by the Romans at the time of Donitian as a stadium for sea battles. Before concluding with an Italian lunch, we’ll move to the Pantheon, one of the greatest Roman monuments, built for the emperor Augustus and still perfectly preserved after 20 centuries.
